The company:

We are looking for a cooperating foreman for our client in Tilburg Oost (Moergestel).

The company specialises in the production and supply of insulated pipe supports for low-temperature piping systems and insulated pipe supports for high-temperature piping systems.

Our client has pioneered the introduction of fully insulated supports in the chemical, petrochemical and LNG industries. LNG terminals in Europe use our pipe supports.

The company has several departments where work is carried out. For example, you may come to work in an assembly department, the foam department or in the packaging department.

What will you do:

You will initially start in the production department and work along so that you get to know all operations. This is important in order to be able to carry out the position of cooperating foreman properly.

The work that will be done includes:

• Scheduling and distributing the work        
• Preparing the moulds so that the foam can be put into them
• removing the foam from the moulds
• assembling the supports according to customer specifications
• packing the supports for shipment in wooden crates
• as cooperating foreman, you explain to new employees what they have to do
•  you keep the planning up to date with the people present
• they can submit leave requests to you
• directs people
• ensure safe working practices on the shop floor

What do we expect from you:

•  that you enjoy immersing yourself in production operations
• have technical skills
• it is an advantage if you can read technical drawings
• mastery of the Dutch or English languages or another foreign language
